Rhodes is an island in the Aegean Sea, the largest of the Dodecanese Island complex. It is located at southeastern edge of the archipelagos of Dodecanese. It is here that the Colossus, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, dominated the harbor before it’s destruction in an earthquake in 226 BC
